[ THE TASK ]

The situation for Ambience was a little different. Acoustic Panels were not well known or recognised as an option for wall-furnishing in Singapore. Thus, the game-plan was a little different, we understood that we were not marketing Ambience as a brand, but rather Acoustic Panels as a product – and competing against other forms of wall furnishing - Paint, Limewash, Carpentry & more. 

[ THE STRATEGY ]

While function was the entry point, sound absorption alone wasn’t enough to drive adoption. We needed to make acoustic panelling relevant on an emotional level. Our approach reframed panels as more than a solution to noise — they became a way for people to create spaces that support intentional living.

We anchored the brand around the narrative of “Live with Intention” — a philosophy that extends beyond design choices into everyday life. By eliminating distractions like external sound, Ambience empowers people to focus on the things that they set out to do in their space.

To bring this to life, we created a visual world. A lifestyle driven world that felt sleek & elevated, positioning Ambience as a tastemaker for people to aspire towards. The panels became the backdrop to a life to aspire towards & one that’s lived with intention.

[ BEHIND THE SCENES ]

The nature of the product made our process a little more challenging. A new brand, with no past projects or places for us to shoot & a limited budget, naturally we had to think a little out of the box.

We settled on an idea of capturing the bulk of 3 months worth collateral into a single studio shoot & then repeating that process every quarter, which meant we had to get really creative with our set designs to create diversity, whilst also being extremely on the ball with our planning.

On the actual shoot day, multiple teams of shooting while setting up sets and pushing timelines to get the job done – eventually landing with 36 pieces of content good for 3 months, all shot within a day. The whole process then repeated again 3 months later.

[ THE RESULTS OF OUR WORK ]

Qualitatively we’ve created a visual world that has resonated with many home-owners which has led to an unexpected quantitative result of a very strong stream of leads with a reduced budget in Ambience’s first few months. Ambience has widely outperformed our expectations for a new brand conversion metrics wise, & is our proof that strong, emotion driven, visual communication brings not only results good for the eyes, but also results good for the business.
